Oh this book is very good!! I would go as far as to say that it is the best of the Legacy series so far. The story line divided into some good old Ancient and Asgard technology scavenger hunts and story of Elizabeth Weir is a great mix and the pace of the book is really really good and probably better than the pace of its predecessors. I have just three tiny little things that could have been probably better. First, the part where the Satedan was like "OMG You can read Lantean! No one in this galaxy can do that! I guess you really must be Satedan..." was pretty weird and it should either not have been mentioned or the book should have admitted she can be Lantean. Instead everyone played really dumb and I don't like that... Secondly, speaking of playing dumb the "oh that's why" moment regarding Asgard in the second to last chapter should have been figured out sooner. Five pages worth of wondering at painfully obvious thing is just a waste of time. Lastly, I am not to keen on the forced unascention deal, because I find it really hard to make it work in the Stargate universe we know from the TV series, but maybe it will grow on me... Anyway that was really just nit-picking. The book is brilliant and I love to see some more Weir-Jackson-Asgard action!
