I'm not really a memoir person but wow this was beautiful. The prose was gorgeous and I loved learning about the different figures in Islam as the author connected them to her own life and experiences. I love reading about how people of color navigate their queerness because it brings in so much intersectionality that I see pieces of in myself. Really fantastic read.
