I'm glad I read this, and it's always interesting to follow up with the subjects of nonfiction so many years down the road. Boobie remains as fascinating as ever. Bissinger seemed a little self-aggrandizing, and I wish this had caught up with others from the book, beyond a token dismissal of the head coach and outing another coach for using unfortunate language.

I thought there would be more to this? It was really short, but worth reading. I wish there'd been more detail about, umm, pretty much every aspect of the story.
