“But the apple was first, and it never stops rotting, it just gets blacker.”

Really wanted to like this more than I did. Description and imagery was beautiful, and the atmosphere - including the building of dread - was effective. However I don’t feel like that suspense built towards anything and the narrative lacked a satisfying conclusion.

I'd like to inform all wlw that may be interested in piss books that I think the author succinctly writes urine in a sensual manner. However, while it is a prominent, unavoidable part of the theming of this story, unfortunately for you is not on every page and is usually only mentioned briefly.

A very lyrical, weird, gross and avant-garde book. I am still processing what I just read and trying to understand what happened. Either way, it was an experience. Trippy mushrooms, creepy settings and some homosexual activity (I love this combination). The writing style is very good, although some of the most grotesque imagery conjured by the writer will surely haunt me for a while (apples no longer look the same)
