Kissed by the Alien Prince is the first book in the Nabalar Prince series. It is a quick and interesting read. Ariella is co-pilot on a space ship that loses power. When she and the captain, Delvin, escape in the shuttle, they're caught in a worm hole that has them crashing on the planet Nabalar. It is a planet much like Earth except for the flesh-eating beasts trying to kill them and the humanoid and very handsome alien prince, Mirsux. Delvin is also hiding a secret from Ariella that might complicate matters.
This is an engaging fantasy story. I really liked the different language that the people of Nabalar use and how the humans constantly misinterpret what is being said. There were some inconsistencies I didn't understand, such as why the flesh-eating beasts would want to cook their meal sometimes and other times just rip their victims apart. I'd give this a 3 1/2 stars and I was intrigued enough that I want to read the next in the series.
