This is a book I got from my mom that had been hers as a child and is wrapped up in a lot of nostalgia. It is a collection of historically themed short stories that are not connected to each other, with tales of daring-do almost Enid Blytons Famous Five type adventures but shorter - although I haven't read any of thise in ages either so fon't quote me on that! A plesant collection to read on a weekend with a cup of tea and candles lit.
