A lovely little short story!!! Nat is one of my favourites, and one of the more “together” characters in this universe. It's very nice to see another side of her.

Fascinating short story that takes place between the events of The Aleph Extraction and The Nova Incident. Unlike the other short stories in this series, this is not a deleted scene from a book but something original, and I loved it. I was glad I read this before starting The Nova Incident so I had it in the back of my mind, but you don't have to have read it to enjoy the full novels in the series.
