this was cozy and hot. i had a great time & can’t wait to read the other king brothers’ books!! i liked the grumpy x sunshine aspect & the whole “we booked the same cabin by accident and now have to cohabitate” situation… i’m just gonna eat it up every time.

I’m a die-hard fan of A.E. Valdez and Snow King Catches Snowflake fully embodies why I love her writing so much. This is a fun Christmas romance featuring two heartbroken souls who find their perfect match while on holiday. There are all of my favorite aspects of cheesy holiday stories with heaps of spice and a tender love that I can’t get over. King and Noelle are the epitome of a love that’s soft and oh so generous. I highly recommend if you need something for the holiday season or just want a black romance that will put you in your feels.

Winter Wonderland!
This is a quintessential, cozy af Christmas romance that brings the heat! I am talking so much comfort and joy that my heart is full.
Snow King= broody, big, beautiful specimen.
His disdain for Christmas is mired in past trauma. A great loss tarnished his hope for the future and has him emotionally frozen.
Noelle Frost= buoyant, self-assured, fighter.
She is starting fresh with an attitude of adventure and wonder. Her heart is open to live in the moment and make a new path.
Their not so meet-cute is hilarious and sparks the beginning of a reluctant yet beautiful friendship. This was my first read by A.E. Valdez, but it definitely won't be my last. The story had great banter, fun interactions, humor, friendship, family, and steam. Even though the sexual chemistry was fast and fiery, the emotional connection built and didn't feel rushed. The Black love was raw, real, and a resounding delight. This is one of my top reads of 2022! I am looking forward to more from this author and series.
*Dedication and favorite quote: Love heals just as much as it breaks. No love wasted. No love lost.
*CW: discussions of death and mentions of suicide.
