I might need to light a candle to help me sleep after finishing this thriller ! My first novel from the author herself. Spoiler - It’s not the husband 😉🤪 It’s not spooky persay but chilling & nerve wracking. The title is kind of a little misleading because as the audience quickly finds out - it’s not actually just one woman we are looking for but two women and a little girl. I’ll admit the different POV’s were a little confusing at first but it became apparent what was going on the further you read. I again guessed completely  wrong as to who was behind the missing ladies but this definitely worth the read! Link a did a great job at keeping me on my toes. I believe I ended up giving it 3.5/3.75 ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨💫 Some plot lines could have been tightened just a little bit

This was a great thriller that I couldn't put down! It kept me on my toes guessing, and even when it becomes clear what happened, I was entranced by everything going on and had to keep reading.

The plot and mostly short chapters will keep you reading this one, as there's not a ton of development with the characters. We have three main perspectives—Meredith, in the few months leading up to her disappearance; Kate, neighbor to Meredith's family, in the days after Meredith's disappearance; and Leo, Meredith's son and Delilah's brother, in the "eleven years later" part, after Delilah has been found. I found all three perspectives compelling, and thought it was an interesting way to tell the story, not only jumping POV but also jumping time. Meredith's character could be frustrating at times (why does it often seem like thrillers only work if there's a lack of communication from the victim before she dies??). There were definitely some things that just seemed odd for her not to tell her husband.
Also, how she kept ignoring what was happening to little Leo—so frustrating!! I also definitely suspected Kate and Bea together at one point—I knew there had to be a deeper reason for why Kate's POV was included and turns out I was half right! haha
I was intrigued the most by Leo's POV, showing the aftereffects of the past eleven years and how he tries to relate to his newly found sister.

I do think the ending was rushed—the last chapter especially I wanted more from. But I still enjoyed this one overall. If you're looking for a good, fast mystery, it will do the trick.
