O plot twist é forçado e ruim, não tem aquela tensão construída para que haja uma revelação, ela só veio do nada, mudando completamente e desnecessariamente a personalidade de um personagem para que se encaixasse no plot twist. A história começa boa, mas o resto dela é muito forçada.

moral of the story: dont drink and drive kids 👍

 

at 70% I  knew how the last 30% was going to go which is not how I like it. I like when the last 30% is so full of twists you cant sit straight. however, saying that, throughout the book my face did fall open in shock :O when things were getting intense.

some people have said they didn't like the writing style but i feel like it gave us an almost 360 view without the book dragging on.

As a relatively new mystery/thriller reader, I absolutely adored this book. Mary Kubica did an OUTSTANDING job of employing the use of red herrings, misdirection and minute details to create this entrancing novel! I do feel the pacing was a bit off however I found myself thoroughly fulfilled yet surprised by the ending! The bar truly has been set high for my future thriller reads!
