This was just a bummer read. I recognize it wasn’t going to happy because it was a thriller, but the storylines were just a hard read.

Easily one of my all time favorite books. I genuinely could not put this one down. I couldn’t stop thinking about this book, desperate to get back to it any moment I couldn’t read. I can’t believe I let this sit on my shelf for so long. As soon as I finished it I gave my paperback to a friend and bought myself a hardcover to keep on my shelf. I also bought the hardcover of Mary Kubica’s most recent release “Just The Nicest Couple” and I cannot wait to start reading it.

This book was a decent thriller. It starts from the POV of a  teenager who was kidnapped as a little girl. The story jumps back and forth between before she and her mother disappeared, to present day. It is told from multiple POVs. The story left you guessing until the  end.
