My only negative thoughts were that I should have read the trigger warnings. The graphic details of the birth of Shelby’s baby and the other child abuse was so dark and hard to read as a parent. 

Overall, this had me on the edge of my seat the whole book. It wasn’t predictable and I enjoyed how the characters all came together.

I enjoyed that they never explicitly said Shelby was having an affair with Marty, but that things like his removal of his wedding ring allowed you to draw that conclusion. I remember feeling sketched out by Bea’s studio at the beginning of the story, but I quickly forgot.

If you’re comfortable with the triggers, then I highly recommend!
