I liked this one a bit more than book 1. I think this is a good book for the end of summer/beginning of fall. I liked Hazel and Noah together, as well as their mutual attraction to each other. I really enjoyed the scavenger hunt aspect, and that Noah was helping Hazel. Also, this book was a bit spicier than the first one. The ending and the epilogue were so cute, too. I'm excited to continue with this series.

I enjoyed the hellllll out of this reread. Reading during summer really made this hit the way I wanted it to. I forgot how much I loved the book club in this one. My comfort series fr. :)

Nov '24 original review:
I am obsessssseeedddddd with this book. Noah & Hazel are everything to me. I loved that we got both of their povs & were able to catch glimpses of the other Dreamers we know and love (looking at you Jeanie & Logan). My only critique is this takes place in July-August for most of the book. I was expecting more fall vibes, but late-summer vibes work too.

Safe to say that I'm absolutely loving my cozy time in Dream Harbor & can't wait until we're closer to Christmas to dive into [b:The Christmas Tree Farm|206318178|The Christmas Tree Farm (Dream Harbor, #3)|Laurie Gilmore|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1710859344l/206318178._SY75_.jpg|212380992].

With this being my second book by Laurie Gilmore, I can see the appeal that makes the series popular. However, I don't see myself continuing because there's no depth to the relationships that I've experienced compared to other books I've read. Now don't get me wrong, Hazel was nice fmc and everything, but I don't like how she's seen as the butt of her friends jokes for not being outgoing. Noah was a decent mmc, yet you're constantly given the excuse for his age being how he reacts. I would've loved to see Noah actually visit his family with Hazel, but it didn't happen and instead we get a Friendsgiving scene. All in all, it was "cute".
