This book follows Rosalie, a human woman who ends up in the world of the Fae after following her father into the wondering through a rose bush.
This is a reverse harem retelling of Beauty and the Beast. I wouldn’t say I’m very well versed with reverse Harem. I’ve read the bonds that tie series (fun/okay depending on the book), court of a vampire queen (nope nope), Pucking around (big nope). But this.
THIS BOOK. And THESE MEN. well. This I loved.
I did find myself a little bit impatient in the beginning but once we ended up in the fae world with our fae princes and past the whole impractical “I must escape” recipe for disaster, I was having a grand old time . I really liked Rosalie as our female MC. She was cute and kind and I don’t know. I liked her for some reason.
There was some great action that I loved. But really, the thing that makes this are our Princes. They’re all different enough in personality to seem individual. And their relationship with each other is also one of my favorite parts.
Overall, as the first book in the series, it felt like something fun and consumable. But just wait till book two!

Keldarion and Ezryn are both bae, honestly. I'm also a huge fan of Farron because he's such a sweetheart. I'm hoping the sequels bring some sort of justice to a lot of the trauma the MMCs have been through. I'm really hoping Rosalina won't have to choose.
