I personally thought the book was very poorly written and the plot was not interesting, almost none existing even. On top of that, the story suffered from repetitiveness.
The characters were flat, unlikable and problematic. The main relationship was very toxic and almost seemed like a glorification of emotional abusive and possessive relationships.
If my friends hadn't begged me to read this I would have stopped after the first 10 pages.

I think I read this book on Wattpad a number of years ago, but honestly it is so forgetful, that I cannot remember. I now understand why Harry Styles wants nothing to do with this novel (if you could even call it that). The main character Tessa is so obnoxious, the author tried to make her "not like other girls", but the way that she talks about other women is not okay. I found myself cringing so often whilst reading this that I am surprised I finished it. I originally gave it three stars, because I usually rate books highly, but after thinking about it, this book was horrible. I do not even think that it would've been good if I was still a young teen. The relationship portrayed is extremely harmful to the young people who read this book, and I cannot believe this got published at all, let alone multiple books in this series. If this was not originally a popular Harry Styles fan fiction, this book would have never been published. I bought it cheap online, and am unhauling it, will never read it again.
