I'm a little bit bored. It might just be my mood right now, but I'm not vibing with the farm life.

It really has that "The Proposal" vibe going on. I love it.

This was a stinking cute romance! The characters were great, the setting was cool, and the humor was good.
My favorite thing about this book, though has to be the faith content. I love that the characters have a passion for ministry! They truly do care about the people around them and show God's love well. They aren't perfect characters, though, in fact they mess up a lot. They do eventuality learn from their misstakes and try to make things right, though!
If you are a fan of writers like Jenny B. Jones and Jen Turano, I think you would like this book!

Not bad. It was actually a nice romance.
Unfortunately, not for me, it was a bit too slow but I didn't hate it.
Would recommend for fans of small town romances or Hallmark movies.

Samuel Payton was an idiot.
With that opening line, I was instantly drawn into the world of Kimberly Foster, the smart, cool-headed business manager of Wildfire, an outreach started by Aussie Samuel Payton. Right from the start, Kim and Sam clash as they fight over what they both think is best for the outreach. And after a particularly nasty fight, Sam leaves the U.S. and head back home to Australia.
That is when we are introduced to Julia, a.k.a. Jules, Sam’s stubborn, independent older sister, who runs a dairy farm that has been in the family for well over one hundred years. Her snappy wit and devil-may-care attitude bring the story to life as she blazes her way through the story, meddling with Sam and Kim’s relationship.
Kim must make her way to Australia in order to win Sam back to the U.S., and back as the leader of Wildfire, as the whole outreach is threatened to crumble.
My biggest reason for picking up this book is my fascination in Australia, as I know several people from Queensland. And I was not disappointed! A Girl’s Guide to the Outback is infused with Aussie culture and slang.
Jessica Kate imbues the story with wit and humor all the way, adding an element of pure fun. But that doesn’t mean things don’t get heavy, as emotions spike and relationships go sideways. And even though things don’t work out the way they were expected to, the end of the story is satisfying enough to make any reader melt in her seat.
A Girl’s Guide to the Outback is a humorous story filled with life, laughter, and a whole lot of cows, perfect for those who love clean romance with a little bit of comedy.
NOTE: I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through Prism Book Tours for review purposes only. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Okay, this was super cute!
First, it isn’t too often I get to read a book set in Straya.

“A Girl’s Guide to the Outback” centers around Sam Payton who is a youth pastor for Wildfire Ministries and Kimberly Foster who is the Business Manager for Wildfire Ministries and is known for her strategic/financial planning. Sam abruptly quits his job at the ministry and moves back home to Australia to help his sister Jules with the family farm that has come under financial strain. Upon Sam’s abrupt leaving of Wildfire Ministries, the Board has left Kimberly in charge and struggling to find a replacement for Sam.
Jules, Sam’s sister calls Kimberly one day and asks her to fly to Australia for a month to look over the financials of the farm and make suggestions on improvements. In return, Sam will fly back to Virginia for 6 weeks to help Kimberly interview and hire his replacement.
From there, the novel ensues.
While this novel was a slow burn romance between Kimberly and Sam you also explored Jules relationship with her ex Mick.
I thought this novel did a great job at showing honesty in relationships and really explored what it means to face your own fears.
