I felt like I was going in circles, I fully understand why for the build up but still,
Goddess ex machina
. I don't feel a particular connection with either MC but went for the ride anyway. I did enjoy the complexity of Oraya's feelings towards Vincent and Raihn.
I'm very much over the "There she is"

tentative 3.75?

unfortunately this did not reach the absolute insanity (affectionate) of the first book, but it was still mostly entertaining and it was interesting to learn more about the lore/world-building! (and i hope we learn more about it in the other two series!)

(all else aside though, if i have to read the words "there she is" one more time i think i will jump out a window)
