This book is a brilliant follow up to the first in the series and I was pulled in right from the start. This is a fast paced story that really captures your attention. So much seems to be going on and there are so many twists and turns that I never quite knew how the story would turn out.
I loved getting to know the characters in this book. Each seemed to have their part to play and I wanted to know more about how they would impact storyline. This author has the perfect writing style for this kind of book and It drew me in with ease. This is a great book and I am looking forward to the next in the series.

This book was great! It was fast-paced and thrilling. I also loved the fact that the main character was from El Paso, Texas! I am from El Paso, so this reminded me of home. I am so glad that Margo found herself! I think this book did a great job of showing how our plans can change over time. Our priorities shift as we get older or as things happen to us. Margo found a greater purpose after all that she went through. There is some romance in the book as well, which was a nice touch! If you like a strong FMC, a crazy dictator, familial, and romantic relationship, then this book is for you!
