Maybe I'll finish it another time but the aspects that I enjoyed about the first book are missing in the second ( the relationship with De-Lia) and Krona and her impulsiveness annoy me. I know she fights with emotional turmoil but even things that have nothing to do with her sister she approaches too impulsively. I just don't care enough.

another fantasy book that’s fallen victim to stuffing in details and taking way too long to get through the story. the first part of this book was super frustrating to read, thanks to Krona.
the world building is fantastic but again takes too long to get to the point, building it up to really be an epic instead of the incredible story from the first (which really had it all!). I do love the queer normative characters and how this is built. Some of the characters felt a bit one dimensional despite spending so much time with them. Despite that, I’ll definitely read the next book.
