This was a book I saw dividing fans. Some declaring it brilliant, others being distinctly unimpressed. For me it was straight down the middle. What it did was well written and fine....but....It was entirely what any fan would imagine. So whilst it is very good fanfiction it doesn't really elevate above that like some of the novels do.
An enjoyable, but fairly average addition to the Doctor Who novels. Highly recommend the audio book version as they include sound effects which helped pull me into the story more.
