My heart. This book had me in an emotional chokehold. It was heartbreakingly raw while simultaneously being so beautifully wholesome. Shannon and Johnny’s relationship is one that will always hold a place in my heart. The love and support they provide to one another through everything, good and bad, had me sobbing on more than one occasion. This book will forever live rent free in my heart and head.

It's a good book. The MMC's friends are funny. They have good relationship with each other. I love how the author told Shannon's story based on real life complications within some families. I understand the feelings of the Lynch kids. The only thing that made me give this 4 stars is that the book is so damn long.
