Taylor Swift Songs: this book is so perfectly “Snow on the beach” And “Christmas tree farm”.

This book was just pure unadulterated joy. Sarah Hogle never disappoints. This book felt like hot cocoa on a cold day, when you’re curled up under a fuzzy blanket by the fire with a good book. I loved everything about this book. First of all the concept is so funny, and the execution is top notch (I would expect nothing less from Sarah Hogle). Every single thing about it was perfect. I usually am not a huge fan of Christmas books, but this put me in such a happy holiday spirit, it was insane.
Bettie’s family was larger than life and so hilarious. All of them are so uniquely their own separate personalities but mesh/riff off of each other so well together as a family. I would love to go to a Watson Hughes family gathering!! I love all of them with my whole heart. And don’t even get me started on Hall. I’m obsessed with the reverse grumpy sunshine, and in this, she’s grumpy and he’s actually Holliday spirit and so joyful and happy. Bettie’s character reminds me of Alexis from Schitt’s creek, obviously with Hall being her Ted. I love Hall so much, he is literally a ray of sunshine, pure joy personified. He is an absolute delight. I loved the character growth and development throughout this story, it felt so real and authentic.
Be warned, this book is addicting!! I did stay up until 1:30 AM reading this the past two nights!! When I finished this I was crying and just feeling all of the warm fuzzies. PLEASE READ THIS BOOK!! YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!
