This was fun and very similar to Wild without feeling like the author did a copy and past job. She also did a great job setting up the rest of the alphas’ stories.
Mason is sweeter and more understanding than Tyson, which makes sense because Mason has been surrounded by a pack, while Tyson has just rejoined civilization like a month ago. Amelia is much more resistant to the process than Ivy was and the author gives good reasons for that.
I enjoyed watching the how the dynamic btwn Mason and Amelia differed from the dynamic of Tyson and Ivy.
**Sidebar, I love that Tyson still calls Ivy “my Ivy” please never change this DD.
Anywho, I would have loved to see more of Tyson and Ivy and less of Amelia’s freak outs. Amelia has several self sabotaging freak outs and it started to feel repetitive. I think this was necessary because she needs to fall completely inlove with her shifter by the end of one book but also remain true to her character. It was a tall ask. I think DD navigated the challenge as best she could but it just felt repetitive and kind of annoying l. Which maybe it was supposed to! At one point her mom does come in and yell at her to cut it out. So maybe we’re supposed to feel as fed up with her way of resisting. Because I want upset that she was resistant. Amy is an ER nurse and a pragmatist…. It would not have remotely made sense for her to be on board with being claimed by a supernatural being within a few chapters. I just got tired of her woe is me inner dialogue.
Any who, this is great. Everything that DD prince writes is great. If this is your first introduction to the series, I highly recommend reading the books in order. So much of the what makes up this world is first introduced in book 1 because both main characters are new to the world as well in that book.

Twisted in the best ways
Find me a Bermuda triangle like Arcana Falls and forget me there... Every second of this book had me feeling some crazy emotions. I loved Wild and I think Twisted is even better. Mason is a dreamboat in every way and I'm so excited that Amelia gets her happy ending. I love the way this world is building and am excited about the twists and turns revealed in the book! The worst part? Waiting for the next one!
