Vardaesia
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

💭”You have always been the master of your own destiny. Now is the time to choose your path and follow where it might lead.”

The finale! I can’t believe my journey with these characters is over!

Vardaesia was full of actions, surprises, reunions and romances I had been waiting for! Also another new world 😍

@lynettenoni the amount of times I said “no way” “wtf” or “you have got to be kidding me”! The internal stress metre was running higher than it does when my sports team plays.

I am so sad that it is over (well almost I know I have a nice novella coming my way), devastated to be leaving these characters.

🛍 Buy/Borrow? BUY - I have been reading these on my kindle because you can’t get the paperbacks in the UK! I am planning on getting copies when I eventually come back home!

Oh my heart!! This book was honestly almost too much for me! I literally just put the book down and my heart is still going crazy. What an absolutely amazing and phenomenal ending to the Medoran Chronicles, one that I am 100% reluctant to say goodbye to.

The characters in this series have all just been so perfect but also flawed, and just so relatable in everything they say and do. I know this series was fantasy but it honestly made it seem like the other races and humans having gifts was completely normal and not at all pushed on you as a reader.

My favourite part about this book is that everything wasn’t all laid out bare for you to read along and see how it panned our, there was definitely a few surprises along the way. To name a few, Alex claiming Kaiden, Zaylin being the real Empress and Athora being a timekeeper. Alex once again would have to be one of my all-time favourite characters within a series, she is so strong and so loveable that even throughout each book when I though it was becoming “The Alex Show”, the writing of her character made sure there was definitely no doubt that that was not true.

I laughed with this series, I cried with this series, I definitely lost sleep with this series and I am still eternally obsessed with this series. Thanks so much Lynette Noni, for writing this amazing series, and from the back page of the book, I absolutely cannot wait to read more about Medora and Tia Auras

I will review the entire series, so beware of spoilers below.

Now this series was a treat I didn’t expect! If I’d been 10 years younger (and thus, the target audience) I would have swallowed it up.
As it is, I still enjoyed the series tremendously, although I will admit it is not without flaws. One of the main things I noticed was how… convenient some things were to Alex, the Valispath, leandra, Alex’s parents, for instance, or even her relationship with Kaiden - which I am definitely a fan of, even if I would have liked more development from Kaiden’s character.
Which is another general thing, for some of the characters I would have loved to see some more impact from them (I’m looking at you Bear), even though I still thoroughly enjoyed them.

That said, my criticism doesn’t take away the fact that I enjoyed the series, and loved spending time in Medora. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this portal fantasy to people
