Death Wish is so good! 🔥 I loved the continuation of this story and felt like Alexander Croft got the ending he deserved. That guy is the WORST. Sparrow, Sulley, and Scout are so good for Landry, and yeah, their story started under questionable circumstances, but I feel like they all genuinely came together (lol pun intended tbh) for the better! And the way they all care for Della too is 🥹.

After finding out that the guy she’s interested in is 3 different men she is scared that her one slice of security in life is a lie. What she doesn’t realize is that while it started off as a ploy to trick her they ended up falling for her. Eventually her father finds her and takes her back kicking and screaming. Missing her boys Landry is determined to escape for good. On her father’s birthday the boys seek in to tell her the plan they came up with to help her escape that night. However when they get home her father begins to take things too far and Landry shoots him to protect her sister. When the police come one of the triplets take the fall and Landry is finally free of her father. Once the proof is found that her father was a bad person and custody is obtained for her sister they get the triplet out of jail and make plans of the future.

I only picked this up because I read  the first book and was hoping the second book would be even slightly better. Spoiler: it wasn’t.

If anything, it just doubled down on everything that didn’t work in the first one. The plot dragged, the characters remained frustrating, and whatever potential the story could have had got buried under bad decisions and even worse dynamics.

At this point, I’m just here out of stubbornness, not enjoyment.
