Honestly, I wanted to like this book more. The plot twists were a little predictable and once the novelty of the plot wore off it was a little boring. The writing is pretty good and I loved the concept.

Well, once again, I’m forced to confront the fact that my taste in romance is... questionable at best. But let’s be real, I know I’m not the only one who salivates over fictional serial killers, especially when Brynne Weaver is involved. And now, thanks to Marrow, Trisha Wolfe is firmly on my radar too. This book is deeply, deliciously fucked up in all the best ways. It is graphic and apologetically depraved.
Kyrie is my kinda woman - bright and chaotic, constantly antagonising Jack with her sunshine energy while being an absolute badass. That grumpy/sunshine dynamic owns me every time, and with these two, it’s especially satisfying.
And Jack, ugh. Jaaack. Obsessive. Broody. Protective. Absolutely unhinged in the most *chef’s kiss* way possible. My weakness.
The chemistry between them? Off the damn charts. The banter is incredible, the tension is intoxicating, and the way they shift from rivals to all-consuming lovers is just perfection.
The mind games, the competitiveness, the stalking and obsession - every single interaction between them is electric. And the spice? Unhinged. Filthy. Absolutely wild.
If you don’t have any triggers, go in blind - it’s a glorious experience. But if you’re sensitive to certain themes, definitely check the content warnings first.

I've reread this book maybe like 4 times now and each time I do I notice little things I haven't before. I love the character banter, I love the plot, I certainly love the smut lol, but the way this was written was absolutely phenomenal. Probably my favorite book of the year so far

Omg this was fantastic, definitely one of my top dark romance of the year so far! - RTC
“I didn’t know what life could be like until you shone your light into the dark. You are as indomitable as the sun. As integral to me as the lattice of marrow within my bones. And I love you, lille mejer.”
Trisha Wolfe and Brynne Weaver had me at two rival serial killers, so I just knew I had to take a chance and apply for an ARC, and I am so grateful that I did because I was lucky to receive an ARC of their newest book Marrow!
I have been trying and failing miserably with how to put into words just how much I loved this book.
As soon as I read the first sentence, I knew this book was perfect for me. Marrow was everything I never knew I needed in a book and more. It utterly consumed me, and I may have stayed up way too late so I could read just one more chapter because I could not put it down.
I loved that both the FMC and the MMC are serial killers, working at the universities Forensic College Field Research School, where Jack is a forensic anthropologist, and Kyrie is a wildlife biologist. It was such a unique story concept.
I do not want to give away too much about the story, as I want others to be able to read this book and fully experience it for themselves.
Trisha and Brynne did a phenomenal job, and everything in this book was complete perfection.
Thank you so much to Trisha Wolfe and Brynne Weaver for the ARC and the opportunity to read Marrow
