I enjoyed this book quite a bit!

I loved how we started off right away with Kyrie’s frustration with Jack and her revenge plan. There was no long winded back story at the beginning which would make the book drag on. Instead, we jumped right in to all the craziness.

I don’t know if this says something about me, but I was grinning like a fool while Jack was murdering someone - all because he was thinking about the blue flowers. Which made me realize he had been cultivating flowers to match the blue of Kyrie’s eyes. That was the sweetest thing! Aside from the killing someone.

Kyrie and Jack’s relationship was wonderful, not to mention incredibly hot.

I do wish we would have gotten a little more closure on Brad Thompson. As well as the coworkers reactions to Jack and Kyrie’s relationship and impending move.

Trisha Wolfe has been one of my favorite authors for several years.  I have never read a story that she wrote that wasn't intelligent, interesting, and full of twists that keep you on the edge until the end.  I also really like Brynne Weaver so when I saw that these two joined together to write Marrow I knew I had to grab it.

Just as expected, the story has mature and intelligent characters and the development was perfect.  There are a lot of feelings that I had as the story progressed, but ultimately I loved the dynamic between Jack and Kyrie and their banter was as witty as it was charming.  They had me laughing so many times and I absolutely loved watching them fall for each other even if their story was unconventional.

The story was held together with strings. The MMC being so “edgy” made me cringe every time he talked about how unfeeling he is and how he has so much darkness in his soul. The book is very story driven, but the story was like a tower of toothpicks in a tornado.
