2.5⭐️ If I had not read Butcher and Blackbird or Leather and Lark before this I believe I would have enjoyed it more. The characters didn’t seem to have much chemistry and wit to me. It was just meh.

Jack & Kyrie

2 serial killers vs. FBI agent

Was it a little gross a couple times? Yes. But the rival serial killers story line was so good. The surprises/twists- so good! The way Jack talked about Kyrie?! SWOON.

Down a star for toenails and telling someone you're tested and clean and then rolling around in a stranger's blood... come on man, you're a scientist.

Trisha Wolfe and Brynne Weaver together? Magical. I love all the things that these two do, so I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. I’ve actually been reading this for quite some time, but got caught up with ARCs and had to set it aside. I finally came back to it and I am so glad I did. Jack and Kyrie were chefs kiss. Amazing. Sick. Hot. Unhinged. Unwell and beautiful. This was a true enemies to lovers and I was absolutely here for it. It was super heavy with smut, but the scenes were so well written and so f*n hot.

Jeg elsker bare en god seriemorder romance, den hitter bare hver gang. Der var nogle ting jeg synes var lidt corny, men en god palette-cleanser mellem de lidt tungere sager.

4.5 rounding to 5 stars for GoodReads/Amazon.

This was bloody fantastic. Rival serial killers with a twisted past finding each other. The plot was super fun read, like watch Criminal Minds without the good guys. The spice was hot, and the emotional side of the relationship was engaging and interesting to watch.

The only reason this wasn't a full 5 stars for me is there is one spicy scene that just wasn't to my taste but it didn't detract from the story and honestly made sense considering the backstory for one of the characters, and I'm sure there are those that will love it.
