I cannot believe I've had this on my bookshelf for over a year, and I didn't pick it up sooner.
Kyrie and Jack are hot psychopaths, and I can't decide who I fancy more. Kyrie is soooo strong. I love how she embraced her pain and her past, using it to give the people who deserve it their karma. Her confidence really shone in this book, and some of the things she said to Jack made me howl!
"Suck my sweet pu$$y l!ps, Jack." I mean c'mon! That line is one of my favs ever!
I just knew Jack would be utterly besotted with Kyrie and so possessive of her. I loved their banter and their chemistry was off the charts. The spice was incredible, especially with the needle. IYKYK!
I loved how much research had gone into this book. The authors' smashed it with terminologies, and explanations in certain parts of the book. I never expected for a book to give me a biology lesson but I ate up that information!

This was a STORY! Man I really like when authors just throw you right into the action. It picks up straight away with Jack and Kyrie as strong competitors within their respective fields, forensics and BEING SERIAL KILLERS. I have found a genre of dark romance that I am just obsessed with at this point and it is unhealthy D: The connection between Jack and Kyrie, story-wise, feels very like Stockholm syndrome but I can't help it. I have to ship it. The chemistry is wild, the competitiveness I respect, the spice is HOT. My man Jack is a lowkey simp. THE MAN GROWS FLOWERS TO MATCH THE COLOR OF HER EYES.....and he wants to say he's not down bad, okay delusional. And he has a spicy lil piercing that made my mouth drop when I looked it up.
The plot is solid and interesting. It keeps you glued on to see who strikes next. I also appreciated how woven their history is and how unhinged they are with each other. They literally stalk each other. The love is strong! D:

I’ve read a lot of dirty nasty books in my life but this might take the cake for the dirtiest nastiest. I loved it
