The book overall was good. It did take me a while to get into it… I think like over a 100 pages before I really got into it.

I do think that the MMC kinda flipped his switch alittle fast from wanting the FMC out of the picture to “claiming” her and loving her.

I also wasn’t expecting the agent to be the one that was crazy! So surprising!

I read this because I loved Butcher & Blackbird. I'm glad I read that first because this fell so, so short in comparison. I hated Jack and Kyrie - they had no chemistry and were such bland characters. I was close to DNF'ing multiple times but I wanted to see how the FBI thing got resolved (unsatisfying, by the way).

This was so good! I had a hard time putting it down and I've already put the next book by BW on my tbr list. I loved the main characters together and on their own and the FMC was just the right kind of sarcastic for me.
