This hit me way harder emotionally than I expected for a book aimed at 10-year-olds (even given the sensitive subject matter). It's gorgeously written and the black-and-white illustrations are very effective. It's in both Spanish and English: reach the end of the book in one language, flip it upside down and backwards, and you have the same book in the other language. I think this could be a really valuable read for kids, whether they know any Spanish or not.
