This book was quite long and repetitive. not a lot of character growth, and didn't accomplish much from book 2 in the series. Bit of a let down.

This could 100% just be that I’ve been in a reading slump, but this book didn’t give me the wow factor I hoped for. The last 200 pages had me on the edge of my seat, but the first 150 pages were a boring slog for me and the middle was decent.
I love all of the characters and the story telling is absolutely next-level creative, but I just wanted more action in the middle of the book.

I have found my new favorite series of all time. When I had started this series I had expected something average but this.... this was just exceptional. I loved this series because of Max, Tissanaah , Aefe ,Caduan, Sammarin , serel....
These days very few stories exist where the characters are so fully fleshed that they feel like real people not just fictional and that's how you know you are reading one of the most breathtaking stories. This was a story of growth, war , injustice and how the pain so intense can change someone so fundamentally. I felt true sorrow for Aefe and Caduan that they didn't get to experience the best of what life has to offer. The dual storylines were annoying at first but then you slowly grow to love them.
This was a perfect depiction of war and humans destruction on nature. Through this story you get to feel every emotion.
