Another fun one!! Am I the biggest fan of Joseph?? No!!! Do I love Sophie?? Absolutely? What a queen who just absolutely never ever listens to her husband. If she loves him then I’ll take him. In the meantime I just was over the moon to read her repeatedly ignore him and just do whatever the hell she wanted to do. 

***SPOILER FOR THE END***

In a word? Satisfying. Very much so. Bringing Rose back, even if it was only for a moment was just *chef’s kiss* perfection. 👌🏻 I think I squealed a little. And having Elise be the one to ultimately bring down the Beast was just so so good. She deserved it, that poor girl. 

All in all, I really enjoyed these books!
