A fresh retelling of a classic story. I thought it fresh and an easy read, and really helps tell the side of a woman who was brought to be known as a monster. I would recommend this book.

I don't know what it was about this book, but it wasn't my favourite and just didn't really hit right. I though it would have been more entertaining, I did like that it was such a short read, it was only I think 189 pages, maybe a little shorter. I already knew the ending of this book because Persus probably short for Percy Jackson is my assumption but I have no clue. I already knew what would happen though. I should have DNF'd this book but I pushed through because it was such a short book, and I could get through it decently fast. I feel like if the book was longer it would have been probably so much better. I feel like throughout this story there are a lot of timeline jumps in the book. Honestly the Percy Jackson movies told a better story than this. The beginning was okay, it was just near the middle/end of the book that something just didn't really hit for me. This is my first greek myth retelling and it just wasn't the best retelling. There's not much else I can say about this book. I don't know if I'll be reading from this author again.
