This was a really exciting volume! It's a very different mythos than I'm used to and I loved learning a little about (reimagined) Mayan and Aztec roots. It is a cliff hanger so definitely have the second one waiting!!
Moderate: Blood, Gore, and Death
There are battles, so blood and gore is there, but it's not dwelled on.
