This was my first Gail Bowen book and the only thing I didn't like about it was the fact that I didn't start with the first one in the series. This book caught my attention from the first few pages and stayed steady until the very last one. Fast paced but still gave all the information you needed without it being too much at once. The twists in the book didn't feel outlandish and by the end of it I was begging to know more about Joanne and the characters closest to her. 100% picking up the first four books in the series!!!
