3.5. It was a sweet story and I liked the characters, but predictable. As a matter of fact I have most definitely heard that ending before. In a story or church talk or something...

I was so impressed with this book. Over all I gave it a 4.5/5 stars. I didn't think I would like this book because I was not a fan of The last song which I read 2 years ago but this one I liked waaaayy more. I loved how the story went back and forth between the two different time periods and couples I loved them both and I was obsessed with Ira and Ruth's story I actually had tears in my eyes for a few parts and I felt a connection to these characters which I forint with the last song. I needed a break from fantasy and this book was just what I needed.

Lots of warm fuzzies with this one! Can't wait to see the movie! I'm such a sucker for cowboys.

I want to thank the author for writing this book, first of all & i'm grateful that i had been given the opportunity to experience the ride. It was surely The Longest Ride, yes,but not once did i feel weary or bored or even exhausted. Two stories alternating at the right times just when your curiosity creeps in, and you start wondering what's up on the other side & the author takes you exactly there.

Two lives tangling in the most unexpected ways & i would like to say the story gave hope or made realize love but no, it was beyond all that. And i hear you asking what's greater than love? It's possible to live a life with no love, no hope although you feel more dead than alive, but you still can live. But more of all, even if the story gave all these, it gave something more, Faith! It showed me that sometimes we don't have to worry about crossing the mountain and that way future almost seems almost impossible, but we just have to take a little step and anything can happen.

And for a person who always thought about the future & living the dream & sudden downturn into saddening events collapsed the dreams altogether and forced to believe there's no future at all after hopes & love drained off , this story definitely gives me a leap of faith. No, i don't believe yet that my life is going to be anywhere near good & i still think its gonna be dreadful but at least now i wouldn't dwell on it, but rather do the right thing even when its hard & give the reins to life to take its course and follow it without any expectations.

Thank you for the most amazing ride i 'll ever have in my whole life, Mr.Sparks! And i really feel everyone deserves to get that ounce of faith & therefore, i think everyone should experience this journey at least, once in their life. Therefore i recommend everyone to read it.
