This was a cool concept but I'd say it's a 3.75 because I struggled a little in the middle of this. It was however saved by the parts with Death so I will be continuing on for that. This is like Bridgerton if it was paranormal and one of the suiters vying for her hand was Death, so that's pretty cool.

SO GOOD. Death reminds me a little of Wrath from KOTW. The story was so unique and honestly just when I thought the ending was predictable.. the last plot twist completely got me! Can’t wait to read the second book!

Such a unique and interesting plot. The mystery had me guessing the entire time, and I was still wrong in the end; it could've been anyone! That was really fantastic. Looking forward to starting Foxglove for the next mystery to solve.

It's giving Phantom of the Opera, and I love that, but idk I felt like there were small weaknesses in all aspects of the book. Maybe if I had binge read this, I would have enjoyed it more.

Vibes were too good to rate a 3 tho... I save my 3 stars for contemporary books ;)
