"What's wrong?"

"Me," I said. "I'm what's wrong."

listen, i'm tired. like, exhausted. not from a long day, or college, or anything else, but from this book. this was exhausting. i actually enjoyed oliver's character for a while, but he also made me exhausted at the end. luc was worse, i never liked him. i mean, the one star pretty much speaks for itself. eh.

Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I listened to audio of this book and found a good lighthearted fun read. It was an easy listen where the two mmc are looking for help attending events as they don't have a boyfriend they decide to embark on a fake relationship. The pair together are hilarious really trying not to say the wrong thing and both are trying to protect there hearts as well.

Luc has already been rejected by him when he was drunk and doesn't think Oliver is in anyway interested plus he has been hurt by a previous boyfriend before.

Oliver is more reserved really than Luc and has liked him for a while and turned him down because of how drunk he was and thinks he would have slept with anyone that night.

He can come off as though not interested as he trys to keep things "fake" but I feel that the difference in there personalities is what had me laughing out loud and continuing to listen well into the night. This is definitely one I would recommend to other mm readers.

Ugh! This was so cute!! My only wish is that it could’ve had a duel perspective just so we could see what was in Oliver’s mind and heart! But I LOVED Luc and his humor and his feelings for Oliver *squee* So so good!!
