I was so very close to adding this to my dnf pile and it was only out of pure spite that I didn't. This book just made me so mad because it started so well. In fact I wish I could give different stages of it all different ratings.
It started out a 4 star and by about a third of the way through I would have given it a 5, but the longer it dragged on (and my God did it drag) the lower my rating got and now I really can't justify giving it more than 2. My recommendation is if fake dating tropes are your thing just don't even bother.

Nice one

Pretty incredible when a book can be both over-the-top hilatiously campy and contain an extremely realistic relationship. Alexis, you legend. ❤️💙

It was cute, but too long. Loved the vulnerability between characters, and that was about it

I loved the first 97% of this book - it was funny in a way that had me actually laughing out loud and the tension of the enemies to lovers/fake dating turning into real feelings was addictive. But the way we got to the HEA ending felt clunky and rushed. Was a bit of a swing and a miss for me there.

Luc was a mess and immature. Oliver entering his life made him a better adult. Oliver was wildly patient with him. Ultimately, was pulling for them to become a real couple. Enjoyed their “relationship”
