3.5 ⭐️, review in English is down below.

extremely inaccurate depictions of entomologists, way too many harry potter references, semi-annoying treatment of vegetarians that as a vegetarian i found irritating. SOOOO 2016. it’s funny and kinda cute though so why not

four stars because of the jokes, low standars and oliver holding luc's hands while they were having sex. bye.

This book was very frustrating and I'm glad it's over.

The characters are all complete caricatures, which made it very difficult for me to be invested in them. I couldn't get myself to care that much about Luc or Oliver either. The fake dating trope is what drew me in, but the story itself isn't all that interesting.

The writing style is dense and consists of rambling thoughts, drawn-out dialogue and 'quirky' moments. Some scenes also go on for way too long, especially the scene at Alex's posh club. The bit of Luc's colleague not understand a single joke gets old really really quickly and is not as hilarious as the author seems to think (no offense).

This book basically hinges on bad jokes and self-deprecation. It has some nice moments and valuable lessons, but it just wasn't worth it.

Generally very enjoyable but I cringed so hard every time HP was mentioned
