Second read through before Starsight comes out. Still 5 stars for me. Maybe one of my favorite Sanderson books and anyone who knows me knows that’s not a statement I make easily.

Highly recommend. Can’t wait for Nov 26.

This book was really good!!
- The main character was awesome. She was confident and impulsive to begin with, but she grew and did change throughout. Her impulsiveness also wasn't annoying and felt like an actual personality rather than plot convenience.
- The other characters were also great and often funny, particularly a certain AI who was excellent/
- The plot was also immersive and the writing just made me want to keep on reading. The aerial battles were engaging and impactful and Spensa's internal conflict did manage to be interesting.
- The worldbuilding was slightly lacking but there is a good reason for this.
- I really vibed with the writing style, it was just so good, if anyone's reading this read the book!!
