Matehub: Legend was such a fun, extremely sexy, sweet and swoony read.
I expected the high scorching hot heat, but what completely surprised me was the lovely, slow-building romance between Richard and Hunter. In between the great smut scenes, they bonded and it was absolutely the cutest, they had me giggling and gushing at every page.
The cold, unfeeling lone wolf cooking for his mate had to be the best part. I adored how Richard went from this big surly asshole to the cutest cuddly puppy.
The little chat forum segments were also fun, and it felt like I was interacting with friends following along the story with me. Granted, they were weird, horny friends, but still.
I look forward to more from this author and more of this series, because even the side characters were great and I canāt wait for more.

I honestly can not get over how good this book is. Absolutely blew my mind that this is only the second work from this author because it is Ah-maz-ing!
Richard Knotz is the biggest star on MateHub, an adult entertainment site for paranormals. Because wolf shifters can only get their knot when they're bonded, Richard has been forming temporary bonds in order to film series that very few can do. Each temporary mate is contracted for a three-month stint, and while Richard always easily walks away, his co-stars leave brokenhearted.
Because Richard is always desperate to try something new, he urges his agent to get his next contract with one of the few humans who is in the industry, Hunter. And while the plan is for it to be like any other contract, Richard finds that he's the one catching feelings this time.
Everything about this book is a stand out. The writing is just absolutely fantastic. It's so easy to just pick this book up and breeze through the whole thing. The characters are great. Love all their banter and the cute, fluffy side of Richard that's uncovered as the book goes on. For a book about paranormal adult entertainers, this is surprisingly sweet. I honestly could not put this down. The only painful part for me was getting to the end and having no more left to read.
This is definitely an author to watch. I cannot wait for book 2 to come out.
This book was well-written, steamy, and hilarious. I loved the universe, the absurd porn plots, and the banter. The reactions in the comment section of the videos were funny, and the illustrations beautiful! Made me laugh out loud a few times, and I genuinely liked Richard and Hunter as characters.
I enjoyed it so much! Tho I have to say the forum commentary was the absolute best! So much humor and banter. I loved Richard and Hunter together, they were such a surprising pair and completely sucked me in. It was a fun and unique plot featuring a knotty wolf who does transactional bonds for porn. He is a legend in the industry for his bond scenes. Hunter is his newest transactional bond, a human. These two are drawn together but both try to keep it professional. It leads to lots of steamy scenes, banter and some slow build up of love and connection. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about these two and canāt wait to see where the other characters go! It was well written.
Matehub: Legend by Marie Reynard, was such a perfect combination of romance, humor, smut and reluctant lovers. Richard is a shapeshifter and the hottest star in the paranormal adult industry and Hunter is a human on the rise (pun intended). Richardās reputation for being difficult precedes him so thereās nothing to worry about, itās a simple business contractā¦right? I instantly loved Hunter and Richard both on their own and together. The slow and subtle build up and realization of emotions were done so well. Cute scenes of the little things like cooking and playing video games won me over. The story is very fluid and kept my attention from start to finish, I didnāt want it to end. Both our MCs and side characters are all well developed, so much so I wanted more of the side characters too. To my understanding this is book 1 of a series so perhaps we shall see them in future installments. Now for the spice, it was done pretty well and while this is about the adult industry it didnāt feel excessive and worked into the story seamlessly. I had a good chuckle at some of the āscenesā for their videos; gotta love those MateHub writers! Lol This really was such an unexpectedly fun read, and I recommend this for your tbr. I must say, Richard and Hunter are now one of my fave MM couples.

I donāt often write reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by this book!
It came as a rec on the MMRomance subreddit, so I thought Iād give it a shot. For being only the second book from this author, itās incredibly well written and Iām very excited to read whatās coming next.
I genuinely enjoyed reading about Richard and Hunter. Also, for it being centered around literally two porn stars, I was originally worried that there would actually be too much sex and that Iād get bored reading the same scenes over and over againā while I love a good amount (i.e, a LOT) of spice, I have absolutely lost interest in books that donāt do sex scenes well. This book does sex scenes well, and when it feels like a lot of sex has happened, some of the āscenesā are just FTB and are said to have happened. I also just need to point out that the final full sex scene is likeā¦ so sweet. And I loved it.
Overall, a really well done book that Iād recommend for anyone open to paranormal MM romance with a heavy dose of spice and some humor as well :)
