First story good- I enjoy murder wives series, Second one has me wanting to read more about the ranger (4-star) as it was very good and kept me reading to find out all the who what and how's.... but the third story fell a bit flat and boring for me. At least they are all quick reads.
This book is three stories the first one is a “Women’s Murder Club “ story and was very good like all in this series. The next one was my favourite “Fallen Ranger” is a great action packed who done it. Fast pace and some good twists. The last one “ Watch Your Back” is different than the other two but very enjoyable. I would recommend this book and give it 5 stars

I was not expecting 3 separate short stories. While the concepts were well written, I enjoy my books to have more of a complete story line, more details, and more background to provide the opportunity to connect with the characters.
Only read the first 23 1/2 lies story since I enjoy that series. Didn’t have an interest in continuing and reading the last two after reading reviews.
I haven’t read James Patterson for a while but I really liked this one. It seems that Patterson has switched to short stories of late and this book had 3 solid stories that kept you guessing until the end. I would recommend this book if you like murder mysteries and a quick read.
