This fell a little flat for me especially with georgette and Evie's daughter. There are also way too many name/couples if you hadn't read any of the other books. And the baby thing was not resolved. An epilog would have gotten this a 3.

I absolutely adored Nate and Evie. Their relationship was purely professional for the entire time they'd known each other despite Nate wanting more. The little things Nate did to try and entice Evie were adorable. These to had hot chemistry and the sex was fan yourself hot. There was plenty of humor and my heart went out to Evie when she found out people close to her lied to her. This book was a fun read and I definitely recommend it. We get to see some characters from Ms. Lee's other books, but you don't have to have read them in order to enjoy this book.

Funny and entertaining

Evie is Nate’s assistant. She has a crush on him, but had been hiding it since meeting him. Meanwhile, Nate has been trying to get Evie’s attention since she started working for him. Nate decides to be auctioned for a date for charity and forces Evie to place a winning bid on him. Evie’s winning bid makes them go to Vegas for their date and that’s when everything starts getting interesting.

Relatable characters, entertaining dialogue, a decent sex scene and plot are all working together for a very solid book. Nothing is very original about this book, but it’s still a wonderful read. I hope you give it a try. Happy reading y’all!!

I just really felt like the hero was a creep and the tension and emotions were just not there. I wasn’t necessarily bored while reading but I couldn’t care what happened. And the ending just really fell flat and the pregnancy was not effectively used in the story. You could call it clickbait.

Marrying my billionaire boss

The main issue I had with this book was that nates money was such a huge talked about thing. That and the book was incredibly predictable. From georgette to the parents it was pretty obvious what direction the story was headed. I did like the characters and their relationship. Nate was chill which I enjoyed much more than if he was a stuck up rich guy. I liked that evie did just jump at the chance to have Nate and made him work for it.

My husband thought I was crazy because I read this quickly and refused to go to sleep until I finished it because I was so caught up in it (stayed up till 3:30am)

The heroine was incredibly annoying. The hero was fantastic and I kept hoping the heroine would get better, but she was just a stupid idiot the whole time. Her blind nature just annoyed me so much, I read upto like 50% and then skipped to the end. I think it might have been a better book if the author had skipped the heroine's POV(I can't believe I just said that, I am always annoyed when contemporary romances have no dual-POV yet this time, I truly felt like the heroine's POV held the story back).
