This was painful to get through. Any time I remembered I needed to finish reading it I would find something else to do. It's pure trash. The plot was thin and ridiculous, the characters were shallow and stupid. I think they were trying to be funny at points, but it never was. I don't know what the goal was with this. I would have bailed if I hadn't made the mistake of buying it. I should have known it wouldn't be any good when I couldn't get it from the library. I considered donating it to the library, but I think I would serve humanity better by recycling it.

Nowadays the fan service jokes are very much problematic (i'm personally a big hater of sexualization of minors) but I love this manga series regardless. (Nostalgia is the main cause)The really good story stuff is yet to come though. Can't wait to read on.

The art are painfully different than fire force, of course considering the time it released.
I just remember how chaotic the first two episodes of soul eater anime adaptation with our characters. And reading it now just make me smile. All have their own special characteristics that make their charming. But the ecchi does disturb me a little bit cause it just appeared randomly lmao.
There's nothing much to say about the volumes 1, as its only introduce a bit of their power system but not in details. But what I love is how we get straight to the action parts. Enjoyable to read indeed.
