A word of advice: don’t read this on a day you intend to do literally anything else with yourself. This shattered me. Sally Hepworth has a knack for writing a story that you know will end in heartbreak and yet you’re still not ready for it when it comes. Nothing here is surprising, I don’t think it’s supposed to be, but there are some plot “twists” that could potentially catch you off guard if you aren’t looking for them. It’ll take me a while to emotionally recover from this one.
