Things just keep getting worse for poor Vincent. As soon as he satisfies one voice, another pipes up. Each leads him down another path, and another way that he could end up dead - for good this time.

Fortey continues to impress me with visceral descriptions and imaginative lore. We get another layer in the onion of what exactly happened in that field and why, and a crumb of what Vincent was doing there. I look forward to the next one.
