I loved this book. All the elements were great. The writing is beautiful. I'm sad there's not going to be more stories from this world. This was just so great.

Very rarely do I read a book that has me so engaged that I stop reading everything else until I finish it- yet this was one of those books.

This was such a cool, unique fantasy story- I really enjoyed the concept. It was fresh, interesting and yet familiar.

I definitely recommend this one.

This - to me anyway- was very cozy with a hint of gothicness, with ghosts souls, and more. It was a beautiful telling of an antisocial, traumatized girl finding friendship with something that should be feared- a revenant. I loved Vespertine, it had some of the most imaginative fight scenes in a book. Artemisia was truly just a badass. Not only did I relate to her, but I also felt that I knew her in my twisted little pea-brain head. It takes a lot for me to relate to a character in that way.
