I’m glad the sequels are short - there are redundant tropes and uses of phrases. How often can she be startled and yelp; adorable and naive but brilliant and unique?

Amazing!!!!

Fantastic storyline for the 3rd instalment, enough tidbits of what we wanted to finally happen and enough new intrigue. And that cliff hanger! Seriously great read.

Ok ugh I did the thing where I am writing the review after finishing two books in the series so I can’t remember the individual books or distinguish my thoughts. So I don’t really have anything to say.

But.
I love Anfar and Perin. Cruinn…..breaking my heart.

The convoluted politics and drag of back and forth was dragging on my psyche. But there was one bit that made me laugh out loud. And that was before the book even begun. It was the
Spoiler'Yes, they finally have sex in this one.' And considering how the books had been a major tease up until this point it felt like going from 0 to 100 in a second, even though it was not chaste or even remotely 0 in the first few books. And considering I am ace and I read sex scenes without any pause or reaction, I have to admit, that jump did give me a pause.
